Eagle Creek Software Services/Tech II
$3 Million investment in Tech II, a 20,000 sq. ft. Class A technology building. Secured financing and completed constructed in November 2011. Owned by VCBCDC and leased to Eagle Creek Software Services.
$1.8 Million investment to locate Eagle Creek Software Services in Valley City. VCBCDC worked in partnership with Eagle Creek to prove out a new business model and the company began operations in January 2005. Valley City State University assisted with developing and implementing a customized Customer Relationship Management (CRM) workforce training program with two delivery training models: 1) a 5-week fast track training session through the on-campus Business Institute for recent graduates followed by Siebel CRM training at the company's location and 2) a semester based curriculum and paid internship program designed specifically for the company. Results- VCSU trained 80 plus people employed by Eagle Creek.
1.4 Million Regional Technology Center (RTC) opened April 2001 providing 20,000 sq. ft. space and infrastructure to assist growing and expanding technology companies and entrepreneurs starting businesses. The RTC is owned by the VCBCDC.
Blue Cross Blue Shield
Provided technical assistance for customer service center; assisted with local employee recruiting efforts. Blue Cross Blue Shield expanded into a new facility and doubled its workforce from 10 to 20 employees with plans to add positions immediately. Additional growth expected.
Over $1 million invested in Valley City State University to build the technology base, most significantly $300,000 for the Masters Program, Technology Education Concentration.
